Duke AI Health & Duke School of Nursing Host FAIR HEALTH Symposium
Duke AI Health and the Duke University School of Nursing jointly co-sponsored the first Duke Symposium on Algorithmic Equity and Fairness in Health, which took place on March 13-14, 2024. The symposium was hosted by Dr. Michael Cary, who serves as the Health Equity Scholar for Duke AI and leads the algorithmic equity initiative within Duke AI Health. Keynote speakers for the event included Harvard University’s Lisa Lehman, MD, PhD, and EqualityAI CEO Maia Hightower, MD, MPH, MBA.
