Jessica is a results-oriented professional dedicated to making a positive influence in her professional endeavors by supporting the organizations foremost initiatives. Her career is distinguished by a strong skill set that encompasses strategic planning, an intuitive ability to streamline processes, organizational expertise, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and excellent communication skills. In November 2021, Jessica joined CTSI (Clinical and Translational Science Institute), providing invaluable support to the Duke Center for Health Informatics. She played a pivotal role in facilitating informatics research seminars, overseeing the institute’s website, and managing the informatics degree programs. Recently, Jessica has expanded her responsibilities by taking on key roles within CTSI’s Clinical Data Research Network (CDRN) team and Duke AI Health. In this capacity, her duties include maintenance of active and upcoming contracts and grants, project planning, overseeing the content management for the monthly newsletter, and collaborating with both the Health Data Science Fellowship program and the CDRN Oversight Committee.

Jessica holds a BS degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Her diverse background includes financial services, early-childhood education, executive-level administration in human resources, and clinical research with DCRI and CTSI. With patience and a goal-oriented approach, Jessica excels in working with colleagues and contributing to institutional processes and procedures. Whether facilitating research endeavors or managing projects, Jessica brings a dynamic and dedicated approach, ensuring her positive impact in every aspect of her professional journey.
